The fact Apple hosts them on their app store is not a clean bill of health or seal of approval from anyone, there are a litany of posts on these forums that can trace most if not all speed issues back to these software issues if it's not a hard drive or some kind of hardware failure. these are known crapware-liewaire that have been documented on these forums as problem causers, also any cleaners, other utilities for OS X: Avoid like plague. Any 3rd party cleaning tools clean my mac, mac keeper, etc. What system? RAM? How many fonts do you have installed? have you patched office? What other apps you running? Any Mac Anti-Virus? Remove it now. Can you be specific? What kind of "too slow" when does it "too slow" do you reboot and it works and 15 minutes later it's "too slow" or is it just start out "too slow"
